The Rice 'n Spice International Ltd has been pioneered by our MD, Ajay Mathur, since its initial inception in 2002. Over the years, the company has seen changes in its structure, but the underlying passion to provide a great service has always shone through.
Mr Mathur has worked with key brands and organisations within the rice industry in India, Pakistan, USA, Europe, Iraq and the UK, and has been involved in various innovations and actions in the Basmati rice trade, such as the introduction of consumer pack rice sales in India. His experience, commitment and hard work have seen the company through an exciting journey and he thrives on good relations and respect within the food industry, and brings integrity, reliability and stability to the company.
Through his personal relationships and network, he has seen the sales of our brands get stronger and gain significant market share in key European markets. Today, we have our own successful brands, as well as many private label customers for rice as well as spices, and we represent category leaders from the subcontinent for the UK and Europe market through our offices in the UK and the Netherlands.
